After two successful nights - Bristol Cosplay Night is back!

Unlike most of the other events on this list, the Bristol Anime Cosplay Club Night is a small event ran by a local anime club.  The Cosplay Night is taking place on Saturday 18th October 2008 in the Cavern Club, a small rock and indie venue under the Crown pub in Bristol's St Nicholas Market.  The event is due to run from 9pm till 3am, and entry fee is £3 on the door, or £2 if you're in cosplay (please note that this must be a full costume).  The venue is within walking distance of both Bristol Bus Station and Temple Meads train station.

"This night will be like no other.  As where in the world would you be able to dance the night away to your favourite Anime (and possibly Game) songs!

There's a bar, a dancefloor and music.  What more could you possibly need?  Oh of course!  A costume!"

With the anime theme, the cosplay and the copious amounts of drinking and cheesy tunes on offer the event will most likely have the feel of a convention party.  Most attendees will no doubt be coming from Bristol or the surrounding areas, but we think there will be quite a welcoming atmosphere even if you don't know anyone.  The Crown and Cavern Club are studenty venues, which means that the prices aren't bad and there's a refreshing lack of the snobbisness you find in city centre bars and clubs.  Anyone who has been to one of the parties at an anime convention will know what to expect - heavy drinking, outlandish costumes, dancing and a good laugh!
