'Since that one fateful evening I happened to watch Street Fighter 2 when I was about 17 I've been pursuing as much anime as possible.  A year after the fateful night I picked up a copy of Ranma 1/2 and then my pursuit of manga began also.

I’m a great fan of Miyazaki, Takahashi and Anno and I’m collecting their works. I am not biased towards them however and own all genres of anime and manga, which what I like about anime and manga so much – the diversity of it.'

'I have been a fan of anime far a while – mainly since Channel 4 showed Akira late one night, although my first exposure to it was Hayao Miyazaki’s Laputa which was shown on ITV in the 80’s and the series The Mysterious Cities of Gold.  I got into manga a lot later with 3x3 Eyes but soon began to wonder where it had been all my life!

I like a bit of everything really, from sci-fi and fantasy to romance and comedy, and try to give the good and bad points of everything I review.'

I remember my first sight of anime, which was basically Hideki hugging a cow in Chobits, in his excitement of going to university.  From that moment onward I became addicted to anime, at first only to CLAMP related anime but then I moved on to others such as Escaflowne and the Gundam series.

I have delved myself completely into the world of anime and Japanese culture from manga to maid cafés to cosplay. I have recently achieved my lifelong ambition to visit Japan which was an amazing experience, as I was there over New Year period!
