Yoji Enokido
(Creator, FLCL)

Information on Mr Enokido is pretty thin on the ground, at least in English.  What we do know is that he was born 27th September 1963 in Shiga, and went on to become a successful anime scriptwriter.

Renowned for his surreal and experimental stories, Enokido worked on several popular anime series during the 1990s.  His most famous early works include Revolutionary Girl Utena and countless episodes of Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon Super S, but it was his work scripting a handful of episodes of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion which proved most fruitful.  Over the next ten years Enokido worked on several

anime series for Gainax, including FLCL, Melody of Oblivion and most recently Gunbuster 2.

However, he had success outside of his work with Gainax, notably with RahXephon and the current fan favourite Ouran High School Host Club, for which he was responsible for the anime series composition.  Enokido is still very much active and will no doubt be doing more anime work in the future.

Note, we will expand this biography once we manage to find more information on Yoji Enokido.
