Battle angel alita starts with what is the best traiuler in history - full stop.  It showcases all of manga's old titles including akira dn a fist of the north star, all to the tuirne of Celtic Frost - altogether now - UGH!

In fact there's lots of trailers, including DEVILMAAAAAAN!, Mermaid Forest, which includes unnecessary trailer breastage, and GUUUUUUUUUYVERRRRRRRRRRRR!  Watch out for his aweome boob lasers!

Finally Alita starts, with a random Egon Spengler-alike doc Ido finging Alita in a scrapyard.  He rubuds her, and she gets all inquisitive about everything.  She soon finbds out that Ido moonights as a bounty huntret anbd gets a bvit of a relationship going with Yugo, a mechanic who fixes their wind turbinethingsy./

Ido's double life means that he has an trenchcoat, hat and jet powered hammer.  repeat: JET.POWERED. HAMMER. the awesomeness of this defies words!  Alita turns up to help him thouh and proves that she;s quite hard too, after that she becomes a boutnty hunttyer too and starts kicking the carp ouy6ut of evt5ryone..

There's a subplot aabout a flying island that everyone wants to get to, a heap of randonma angst and lots of sittinbg around in high places.  Then there;s more fighting.,  IUt rocks!!

The episode ends with a bg fight between Goryushka (prbabluy how it;s spelled) and Alita, iun which Alita kicks more bum ('I have powers your dim consciousness can't even begin to imagine!!!!'), then more stuff blows up and things rock.  This epside is pretty good, and greta stuff to watch whilst drinking!
