Putting in the only male appearance in our chart, Blanka's wild-man upbringing means that he is the most fierce of all our chartees. He has the bonus of particularly impressive chest hair but misses out on a higher place due to the fact that his hair clashes with his green skin. 4. Misty (Pokčmon)
Despite being the girliest of all the redheads in our chart, Misty still keeps up the fiery attitude and this is in full flow when she is giving Ash a ticking off, but we all know she fancies him really. Don’t let your hair get the better of you Misty. 3. Ranma Saotome (Ranma ˝)
When Ranma is splashed with water he changes sex and his hair changes from black to a very strong shade of red. Ranma represents the tomboy redhead stereotype in our chart and boy, does he – er, I mean she – do it well. Ranma is not taking crap from anybody and you’ll feel the wrath of chestnuts roasting on an open fire if you get too close. 2. Lina Inverse (Slayers)
Despite becoming hostile with those who point out her flat chest, Lina is easily the most likeable of all the redheads in our chart. A very powerful tomboyish sorceress that is still very girly, she is a girl you could easily have a pint with. You wouldn’t have to worry about her moaning about dieting either at the rate she eats. 1. Askua Langley (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
Well, nobody fits the stereotype better do they? Fiery,
strong-willed and not afraid to let her opinion be known, Asuka is by far the
most influential redhead in anime and certainly one of the most interesting.
